Mint Chutney Recipe is made in restaurant style which is served along tandoori items, fish fry etc. This is one of our favorite chutney also so easy to make. We love to eat them with potato wedges, french fries, fish fry, chicken fry or any side starter dish. The recipe is adapted from my own version of green chutney but just ome yogurt makes a huge difference.

1 cup fresh mint leaves
½ cup coriander leaves
2 tbsp. yogurt (optional)
2 green chilies or as required
¼th cup chopped onion
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp cumin seed
1 tbsp chat masala
1 tsp sugar
black salt as required
water as required
1.Rinse all the greens and place aside.
2.Combine all the greens, lime juice, cumin seed, sugar, chat masala, garlic, onion, yogurt except water into grinder.
3.First grind for 30 sec then add water accordingly.
4.Grind again until all blends well into a smooth paste.
5.Remove your chutney into a airtight container. Place in the fridge for 30 min allow to cool.
6.Serve your mint chutney as a side dish along your fried or tandoori item’s
1.Adding lime juice helps in retaining the green color.
2.Black salt and cumin seed gives a great flavor. Alternatively you could add roasted cumin powder instead of cumin seed.
3.Add chilies are per your spice requirement.
4. If you are a vegan then skip adding yogurt. You could add cashew paste instead.
4. The consistency of chutney shouldn’t be too thick nor thin so add water accordingly.
