Green Pulao Recipe


1 bunch – fresh coriander leaves, finely chopped
a handful – fresh Mint leaves
8 – Green chillies
1 tsp – ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp – Garam Masala
2 – chopped, finely Onion
4 tsp – oil
2 cups – cooked Rice
A handful – boiled potatoes, fried in oil
Green peas
salt to taste


1 Grind coriander leaves, mint leaves and green chillies together with a little water. Keep aside.

2 Fry onions till golden brown. Add garam masala and ginger-garlic paste.

3 Fry till oil separates then add the ground ingredients with a little water.

4 Let it cook till you get a nice aroma and it should thicken.

5 Add salt to taste.

6 Then you can add peas and the fried potatoes.

7 Add the masala to the rice and stir well till the masala has spread out on the rice.

8 Serve hot.
