Bell pepper is also known as sweet pepper and capsicum. Bell peppers are rich source of antioxidants and vitamins C. If compared to green peppers, red peppers have more vitamins and nutrients. Fried rice with bell peppers and basil is really delicious and non spicy dish.

3 bowls water
1 small green bell pepper, chopped
1 small yellow bell pepper, chopped
1 small red bell pepper, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp oregano
½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
½ tsp red chilly powder
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp wine
salt to taste
parmesan cheese (optional)
1.Bring water and rice to a boil in a pan. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and simmer until the rice is tender.
2.Heat olive oil in a large skillet/wok. Stir and cook onions in the hot oil until tender. Add garlic and continue to stir and cook until onion is translucent.
3.Add and stir chopped bell peppers into onion mixture. Cook until it gets tender. Season with dried basil, oregano, black pepper, and salt.
4.Pour wine into vegetable mixture and reduce heat to medium low. Simmer until liquid is reduced, about 5 minutes. Add and stir rice into vegetables. Top with parmesan cheese (optional) before serving.
